About Two Canyons Conservancy

Two Canyons Conservancy, a non-profit organization founded in 2021, conceived Two Canyons Parklands that year to preserve and interpret the irreplaceable natural, cultural, and agriculture history and future of San Timoteo and Live Oak Canyons, and to offer varied experiences to you, today and tomorrow.

Two Canyons Conservancy seeks to:

  • acquire land and sites through purchase or gifts from willing participants, for permanent conservation;
  • educate the public about wildlands conservation needs, and the contributions of five different peoples;
  • create recreation opportunities for hikers, cyclists, equestrians, birders, history buffs, fishermen, boaters, campers . . . .

Mission Statement

  • Two Canyons Conservancy (TCC) has a mission to preserve and interpret the natural, cultural, and agriculture history of San Timoteo and Live Oak Canyons through acquisition, education, and public access programs.

Vision Statement

  • Live Oak and San Timoteo Canyons are a showcase of a microcosm of the natural and cultural history of Inland Southern California, where history comes to life and residents and visitors can hike, bike, fish, camp, picnic, learn and experience and immerse themselves into the past while connecting to tomorrow.
